The Tour
This tour takes you to the greenest part of all the Emirates, Al Ain, otherwise known as the 'Garden city', situated 120 kms from Dubai at the foot of the mountains. This historical city is known for its modern charms mixed with the lush, green beauty of public parks, gardens and wide boulevards. Al Ain is one of the most important agricultural centres & archaeological sites of the Emirates as well as an university town.
On this tour the first stop is at the Hilly Gardens, the excavation site of a tomb dating back to 3000BC. Then you visit the important Museum, which houses ancient Arabic manuscripts and royal treasures. After lunch we visit the Zoo and Aquarium famous for its research activities particularly for it’s breeding of endangered native animals. (Closed on Saturdays and Wednesdays).The tour continues to the magnificent mountain of Jebel Hafeet 1350 meters high of craggy rock and is a major landmark positioned to the south of the city. A 13 kilometer long road winds its way to the summit where emperatures are significantly lower. Before heading back to dubai we have our last stop at the Hafeet Hot Spring which is located off the road to the Hafeet Mountain an amazing sight to see the lakes of water amid the arid mountain and desert setting.
