Enjoy a visit to the ultra modern capital city of the United Arab Emirates with highlights that include Al Husn Palace.
The Tour
The tour starts from Dubai, traveling past the man-made port at Jebel Ali and onward for a two hour drive through desert scenery, studded with acacia trees. The first stop will be at Al Husn Palace the only palace in the country that allows visitors. Built in 1793 to establish political order, the palace belongs to the grandfather of Sheikh Zayed, former President of the UAE. Abu Dhabi is the capital of the UAE, occupying 87% of its total land. Many of its striking examples of modern architecture show intriguing interpretations of Islamic themes captured in today's materials. Shimmering skyscrapers line our route along the Riviera-style corniche with its blue gulf waters and offshore islands and passing by the Emirates Palace before heading to Ponderosa for our buffet lunch. After lunch the tour continues by visiting the Handicraft Centre & Heritage Village, to see living exhibition of the lifestyle and traditions of Bedouin and other culture's. Last stop will be the Marina mall to enjoy the chance to shop, before heading back to Dubai.
